If you do not have an Android device or are waiting for one to arrive, you can choose to get started with accepting orders via email. It is a convenient option if your email is easily accessible next to your cashier or kitchen!
How it Works
- We'll send you an email as soon as an order is placed.
- The email will contain all relevant order details, such as the customer name, expected order ready time, and item details.
- Open the email and click on 'View Order'. A new page will open where you must 'Accept' or 'Reject' the order.
- You have a maximum of 10 minutes to accept an order. If you do not accept the order within this time frame, it will be automatically rejected.
- If you have an order that hasn't been accepted for over three minutes, an automatic phone call to your store will be initiated asking you to accept the order.
❗️Note: Preparation time cannot be altered with email orders, so make sure that your item prep times are accurate.
Setting Up Email Orders
To set up email orders, follow these steps:
- Log in to your Partner Portal account.
- Navigate down to 'Settings' on the left-hand side of the portal.
- Click on the 'Store Configurations' tab.
- Under the Order Method section, and click on the 'Manage Order Method' button.
- Select 'Email'.
- You may be asked to confirm if you'd like to change your order method. Click 'Yes, I'm sure' if prompted.
- Enter the email address where you'd like to receive orders at, and click 'Add email'. You can enter up to 3 email addresses.
Activate & Start Accepting Orders
You're almost there! Ensure you've checked your menu, and configured your settings on the portal.
