Updating Hours of Operation

The Partner Portal allows you to customize your restaurant's operating hours in three ways:

  • Regular Hours: These are the usual hours where your restaurant is open to accept orders.
  • Holiday Hours: You can temporarily modify hours or close your restaurant for specific days, such as public holidays or renovations, without editing the Regular Hours section.
  • Busy Hours: During peak periods, this provides the option to increase the time it takes to prepare orders, helping to manage customer expectations and reduce wait times.

You can update your operating hours at any time - changes will apply immediately for your Ritual customers. 

 

Regular Hours

To update your restaurant's regular operating hours:

  1. Navigate down to 'Settings' on the left-hand side of the portal.
  2. Click on the Store Information tab to find Operating Hours.
  3. Click on the 'Edit' button.
  4. Under the Regular Hours section, modify the hours for each day.
    • You can add as many sets of open hours per day (for example: 9am - 2pm; 5pm - 10pm).
  5. Scroll to the bottom of the section, and click 'Save'.

 

Holiday Hours

To temporarily modify hours or close during specific days:

  1. Navigate down to 'Settings' on the left-hand side of the portal.
  2. Click on the Store Information tab to find Operating Hours.
  3. Click on the 'Edit' button.
  4. Under the Holiday Hours section, click 'Add New Date' > 'Select Date'. 
    • You can choose to be closed for the entire day, or set specific hours of operation.
  5. Scroll to the bottom of the section, and click 'Save'.

 

Busy Hours

To add additional preparation times during peak periods:

  1. Navigate down to 'Settings' on the left-hand side of the portal.
  2. Click on the Store Information tab to find Operating Hours.
  3. Click on the 'Edit' button.
  4. Under the Busy Hours section, enter the specific timeframe, and select the additional prep minutes from the dropdown.
  5. Scroll to the bottom of the section, and click 'Save'.
